One of the 10 Councils formed in 1982, the Council on Congenital Heart Disease aims to increase public awareness on congenital heart diseases, improve the care of patients with these conditions, and increase the support to children with congenital heart diseases. It continues to conduct a registry of the different congenital cardiovascular diseases.
