ABOUT THE COUNCIL
With the tremendous impact of heart failure to the healthcare system, the Council on Congestive Heart Failure was established in 1997, to improve the care of heart failure patients in the country. Educational programs on congestive heart failure were instituted. Presently, the Council is setting up the mechanics for the establishment of a pilot heart failure clinic, in cooperation with the Heart Failure Society of the Philippines, and the Philippine Heart Center.

ACTIVITIES
National Heart Failure Network
The National Heart Failure Network, a multi-sectoral effort led by the Philippine Heart Association Council on Heart Failure and the Heart Failure Society of the Philippines (Project Lead - Dr. Erlyn Demerre), launched the first nationwide Heart Failure Survey this February 8, 2021 on the occasion of Heart Month.
