ANNOUNCEMENT

The celebration of World Heart Day 2009 has been moved to October 3, 2009 (Saturday).

Risk factor screenings open at 9:00 a.m. with the program proper and contests to start 10:00 a.m.

Venue: Central Plaza of Eastwood City in Bagumbayan, Quezon City.

Take part in the PHA's yearly aerobics exercise program and FREE risk-factor screening services for cholesterol, Body Mass Index, BP monitoring, waist circumference measurement, and ECG.

The Council on Cardiac Rehabilitation will have its own booth for showcasing heart-healthy diet and exercise for cardiac rehab patients and graduates while the Council on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation will have Basic Life Support sessions for those interested in learning this basic life saving technique.

You can also WIN special cash prizes by joining the following contests, open to all government and private offices/companies and their representatives, focusing on the “Wellness in the Workplace”:

1. Healthy Hearts Digital Photography Contest
2. Dress up your Jeans Contest
3. Aerobics Dance Exercise Competition
