Our college is hosting a forum on health, "What has health got to do with everything?” on March 16 involving 4 presidential candidates. It will be aired over primetime television (ANC) from 6 to 8 PM. Candidates Benigno Aquino III, Richard Gordon, Gilbert Teodoro and Manuel Villar will be participating.

Manila hosts World Congress of Echocardiography |
|
Over a thousand delegates from all over the world flocked to the Edsa Shangri-La Hotel on February 17-19, 2010, for the 14th World Congress of Echocardiography, Vascular Ultrasound and Allied Techniques.
The final tally was 1,505 delegates, who came to Manila to listen to the 73 speakers from Asia and Australia, 44 speakers from North and South America, and 7 from Europe.
This year’s World Congress was headed by the WCE2010 Executive Committee, composed of Dr. Homobono Calleja (president), Dr. Raul Jara (overall chair), Dr. Norbert Lingling Uy (secretary general), Dr. Mariano B. Lopez (treasurer), Dr. Mary Ong-Go (chair, scientific committee), Dr. Diana Jean Roxas (co-chair), Dr. Maria Teresa Abola (co-chair, executive committee), and Dr. Edgardo E. Ortiz (adviser).
The Congress was organized through the collaboration between the International Society of Cardiovascular Ultrasound, the Philippine Heart Association, the Philippine Society of Echocardiography, and the Philippine Society of Vascular Medicine. |
